Question lost drag brake going fwd. very odd after swapping radio

Ok I changed out radios and now I have no drag brake going forward like the polarity has been switched. So I switch polarity ,reversed the throttle controls switched everything back around&around again. Still I have very light break going fwd,but in reverse it is very good . I have no idea what else to check beside making adjustment to the esc. I switched from stock axial radio to the FlySky FS-GT3C and now the brake seems to be reversed . Am I making any sense?

Did you recalibrate the radio to the ESC ?

When switching radios did you re-calibrate the ESC to the new radio? If not, the neutral point may be slightly off, therefore not kicking in the drag brake at the mid point.

Even if you did re-calibrate, doing it again would be my first step for troubleshooting.

Either do a recalibration or simply back the trim on the radio down a couple notches. That's one feature I like on castle esc's. If the trim is off a ways the esc won't initiate, it has to be centered.
