hey guys wondering if i can use this esc on 3s with a external bec? thanks if not f.s. section it goes

if not; how much slower is it than a titan 12t on 2s w/ xl-5 esc. soory i gotta BL wraith and i want a brushed scx10 with a little wheel spin but withthe option of running slow on 2s

well then no. says 2s. but like the axial ae-2 which takes 2s but sum use a cc bec and thro in a 3s with no probs. i know what the specs are im looking at them.Rooster Crawler ESC just wondering if anybody tried this setup?

That 12t titan motor will not last. My daughters made it about half a pack. The other local guys running them made it about the same time. 21t titan is a great motor for the money. And for the record Novak anything has trouble once you plug them in to any power. Most blow up just being near a battery, much less connected. Unless your last name is Novak, or you have an unlimited supply of Novak stuff for free ( and I am not sure even then) I would avoid it like a $2 hooker during fleet week in Calcutta.


For the money in a crawler the sidewinder is probably the best bet as far as a cheap, reliable esc. ALWAYS use a BEC.

yah was thinking sv2 or 3 but i have a hw/bhr lt4 setups goin on all my rigs so i can use the programming box on them.and didnt want to use a link. hhhmmmmmm.

Got a couple of rooster crawler esc's on a clod stick crawler. I run them on 3s using the internal bec and haven't had any problem in 3 years. However that is a low demand on the esc. If it was for something faster I'm not sure the esc would handle it.

Also on 3s I use an external cut off for the battery as the esc cut off is only for 2s.

yup read that u can by the 3s low voltage cut off alarm. and i dont plan on haulin' bisuits in my scx10. its gonna be a strictly crawler. i just want the powa! hmmmm debates
