I have Three Novak Esc's, a Micro Pro, and two Timbuk2's esc's and there is a slot for the fan to attach to with screws, and when I bought the Novak replace fans, didn't come with the screws, can some one please tell me, what size of thread do you need, its not metric, 3mm is too big, 2.5mm, is too small, could they be 4-40, cause 6/32, 8/32 is too big. are they 4-40 ?????

Just put a bit of glue on all ends of the fan then stick it on and let it dry...use super glue or shoogoo

M2.5x.45 uses a .0807" drill
M3x.5 uses a .0984"
4-40 uses a .089"
4-48 uses a .0935"

4-48 isn't very common though so I would say it takes 4-40.

What if you take the 2.5mm screws and put a few turns of teflon tape on the threads. That will build up the screw diameter just enough.

the 2.5mm screws I got are fine thread, I use them to mount my RC4WD Proten rims, there garbage, use them for about two rims and they strip out or don't thread, I'm going my local Ace Hardware, they got a huge selection of metric and the standard, they got bolts, nuts, screws, washers, fasteners, over a hundred different springs, Ace is the place for me. better than Lowes and Home Depot, and got a way better selection.
