| what size wire to run
I am running 30 turn 400's Holmes hobbies with micro side winders and was wondering what size of wires people are using?? I figure 16g should be fine or should I go larger???? |

I use 16G for battery and 18G for motor connection, but mine is just normal motor, not neodymium or cobalt magnet. You can use 16G all round just to be safe.

12 is a good gauge to get in bulk! Great for Batts, motors, anything really! Save the 16 and 18g for lights!

I use 16 or 14, purely because it is easier and less finicky to solder. Those big wires can suck up a ton of heat.

Search for smashups with the sidewinder micro or mini BR-XL to get ideas on how the wiring / packaging is done with dual ESC's.
