which HH motor?

I know there is something on this somewhere on here but I can't find anything and emailing HH has got me nowhere so can some of you guys help me with this, I am currently running a 7t cobalt puller and want to have a different brushed motor for everyday use to save the puller but I can't decide which to buy, I would prefer the cheaper end of the HH motor spectrum as once In a while I do run into some mud, snow, and water but I maintain my stuff well, my question is what motor will give me the closest performance to the puller? I don't want to have to switch my driving style TO much when I switch motors, any suggestions?

Have you searched up hh in these forums? There's been a ton of input on their motors in the past. The info mite answer your question. Just a thought.

I have looked in there but can't find any comparisons between the 540 puller and any other 540 unless I'm looking in the wrong spot? And with Mr.Holmes being so slammed I'm guessing I'm just going to have to pick one and try it, if it's not what I'm looking for I guess I could sell it and buy another to try

Its probably due to the people that know about the cobalt puller have been discontinued like the motor. ;-)

It is really hard to replace a great motor with a cheaper one and still get the same performance. Holmes Hobbies LLC

I believe 7t colbalt puller is a 2800 rpm/volt motor. So on the really cheap end of the scale you have the TrailMaster Sport which is a 27T motor so it would be a bit slower something like 2000 rpm/volt. The CrawlMaster Sport would be a bit more money but is still around 27T.

To get an really close speed match you would need to go with a TorqueMaster Pro 21T or CrawlMaster Pro 11T.

Yea. I was going to mention the TorqueMaster Sport. 13T or 27T. Good motor for the price if it's maintained like a brushed motor needs to be.

I guess I shouldn't say cheap but what I mean is somewhere around the $100 mark, I will look into the motors you two mentioned, thanks for the input "thumbsup"
