| Testing brushless motor without esc
I have a hpi flux 4900kv brushless motor that came with a rtr truck and 10 minutes into my first run the esc completely burnt up and melted now I am wondering if that could of ruined the motor? I don't have another esc so I am wondering of another way I can test the motor without an esc?

About all you could do is measure resistance on all three windings with a meter. Go A-B, B-C and C-A...if one is drastically different the motor is probably toast. ~Chip |

Would the shaft have to be spinning while testing it with a multimeter?
