Y 4pls over mt-4

I 've noticed in the crawling world (correct me if wrong) that alot of guys choose the futaba 4pls over the airtronics mt-4. I came from the racing side and there really wasn't alot of 4pl's. Mostly spektrum and airtronics. Is there a specific reason for this? I'm yet again getting a new transmitter for this season and was set on the mt-4 but the 4pls doesn't look bad. Input?

One of the big reasons I think are that the Futaba RX's are cheaper than the Airtronics. It's a big factor if you have multiple cars/trucks. But despite that, I went with the MT4 because of how good it felt in my hands. I even switched to the larger grip and it's so much better now. Setup interface/menu on the MT4 seemed much simpler too. Only thing I can advise is to get your hands on both and see which one feels better. Good luck!

I agree with Futaba's Rx's being less expensive when you're setting up multiple r/c's. I've also been using Futaba since '87 so I'm kinda biased.

Futaba all the way! Flying,driving and boating for twenty years and never had a issue. Definitely a quaulity product.
