waiting for my axial Ridgecrest to get here I have been looking at all sorts of upgrades I want to do,being as this is my first crawler, you guys could let me know what you think about the upgrades I've picked so far! I'm looking at the tekin Fxr esc and 35t motor combo and a hitec HS-7955TG High Torque servo combined with a castle creations pro bec. I would like to run 3s lipo battery packs.any suggestions would be much appreciated.curious as to what kind of wiring supplies are best to keep on hand for this hobby?such as ends and gauge of wire etc.i plan on making this a scaled for my first go around. |

First off congrats on a new crawler that's always fun Second unless u r planning on running tons of electronic items i.e. winches, more than one servo, tons of lights a normal castle 10a bec is plenty Third first upgrades metal links, aluminum knuckes and c hubs , tires and then after that its all choice and what breaks first I have a tekin fxr 45t combo in my scx and love it on 3s have fun and hope my 2 pennies help out lol |

I'll have to add to this but for now: Getting a set of metal links that us revo rod ends I highly recommend, I would suggest a set of R2j's stainless link sets. ;) |

Mip all the way and for the trans there is metal gears available from a couple different companies I would suggest Robinson racing for trans gears I tun a metal lower gear with the plastic center stock gear the top gear comes stock as metal I like to leave a breaking point that is cheap to fix in the trans just in case the metal gears Ttt to destroy each other lol |
