Rc antenna wire

I noticed while working on my scx10 today that my antenna wire must have gotten caught on something at some point and got cut short.... It is probably only 4-5 inches long now. Will this cause any issue? Should I replace the RX? This is on the stock radio set up on a RTR scx10

It's not good. There isn't much to lose by trying it and seeing if it will still work and that you still get enough distance between the TX and the SCX10 to still crawl with it.

If you need to replace it, the Flysky GR3F receiver works with Axial Tx.
You can get them on eBay at about $8: US SHIP Flysky GR3F 3 CH 2 4G Receiver Failsafe for Radio GT2B GT3B GT3C GT2 | eBay
