You can use a receiver by-pass adapter like this:
CreationFab - Plugs Other Receiver Bypass Adapter

Or you can buy a Y-harness like this and pull the pin with the red wire off the male connector that plugs into the Rx and tape it so it doesn't short.
6" Y-Harnesses

Servo City is a good place to buy servo wire and connectors.

Hey 503 I HIGHLY recommend shopping at valuehobby.com
They have all the common connectors you need such as servo plugs, bullets, and deans at unbelievable prices!!! Check them out!

I at all times have
Deans
Servo
4mm Bullet
I have some of the mini and micro deans for wiring up lights and I keep a few 10mm bullets around for the big Castle electronics.

Cheers!
