For what application? Which rig is it going into? What type of driver are you? That's a very open ended question with lots of possibilities!!! |

Agree with Mammoth. The key question is what motor is best for YOU! (A $10 35T motor will work for most applications though...) |

BRUSHED **Gasp** I run a 27T brushed on 3s, but I have it geared down pretty good too. 35T is probably a nice happy medium, but have never run one myself. I have a Novak Fifty-Five that I started out with, but too slow for my preference. |

You also stated "for the money" how much are you willing to spend Brushed/Brushless, expensive/cheap.........with all that aside my .02 is either a Tekin or Holmes Hobbies motor. |

I dont think you can beat the Team Brood machine wound motors at 36$ each.....I dont care who you are. For a few extra $s you can get a handwound motor hand assembled by someone who knows motors. If you want a good brisket sandwich, do you go to a fast food restaurant? No you go to a smoke house, because you want the best!! Buy from the guy that makes motors and only motors and you'll get a motor that is meant to perform like a motor should! If you want a great performing, reliable, powerful, cool looking motor backed by awesome R&D by a person passionate about what he does, there is NO way you can beat these motors. |

It also depends on the esc you have or will be running. If your esc can't run brushless, then you are limited to brushed only. A Holmes Hobbies Torque Master Pro is an excellent crawling motor, is rebuildable, has great customer service, and won't break the bank.
