Was wondering when the 3C was going to get a facelift.

the way I read it, that radio isnt a true 4 independent channel remote. I think it uses channel 3 and 4 for the AVC system. Not sure if you can separate and use those channels like a 2 or 3 position switch.....sure would be nice.

I believe it is actually 4 channel, but if using the AVC which controls the throttle and steering to make jumps and turns easier you lose the 3rd and 4th channels. In "'normal' mode you have 4 channels available so you could run winches, lights etc.

The AVC IS just a stability system so anyone can drive a car, truck, whatever fast and less likely to crash.

Wow that's cheap. I want one!

I love my DX3S, but I hate that the spring constantly breaks.

I just read Spektrum's website again today. This radio will function with four dedicated channels ! I quote:

"When the AVC system is not in use, the SRS4210 will function as a standard 4-channel receiver with any DSMR or DSM2® transmitter, allowing you to use the two extra channels for things like lights or gear shifting."

Too bad they didn't add a backlit screen into it. That would have made me swap out for my 3c for sure.

K so I returned my 4c for the 4s because it has the moa mixing , after I updated the firmware and got a chance to play around I'm digging it , I set the thumb switch to control my dig , it is smooth and flawless , its forward for the front motors , and back for the rears, no cycling through to get what you want. I believe I can set the dial to control the proportional for the rear. This radio is gonna rock

Got DX4C Friday - can set it up for dual winches on 3 position (x2 heyok 3 position winch controlers ) winch 1: trim tab A / winch 2: trim tab D ...... or like my class 3 , winch control on A: trim , and 4WS on/off on D: trim ( or you can have 4WS standard / Crab switching on tab)

still haven't figured out how to: 4WS standard / off nutral / Crab for rear axle

hope this make a little sense, this is my first programable radio

Pat... you have your 4c set up to select 4ws /front wheel steer and crab? I could only get it to 4ws full time or switch to crab. I was told by horizon hobby I need the 4s to be able to have 3 or 4 steering selections. Front/4ws/crab/rear only steer.

If you figure this out please let me know how you do it. Or else im going to return it for the 4s

have been able to set up standard 4WS / switch / front wheel steer only (have not been able to get all 3 to work but am working on it)

by setting mix to

0% - 0%
100% - 100%

this may be switched

Is this one going to glitch like other spektrum systems? I'm just curious because from reading, many people have had range and glitching issues..still a lot of money to put out there and not know if it would glitch or not. I'll just stay with my Futaba
