Default lipo?

So I have several 2s lipo batteries and just go another one with a blizzard I just got. Its a thunder power and there are 4 wires instead of 3 that have been on all other lipos. Its the balanceing lead thingy that im talking about. Is there an adapter that I need to be able to charge it? I have never seen one like this before, please help.

Thanks

That's a 3s. Sounds like you need a different charger.

Just took a look at it. The balance plug has blue, white, black, and red wires. Never seen that before, and it doesn't make sense either for a 2s lipo. I would say you need a balance board that works with TP lipo's and your charger.

I thought it was a mistake at first. I hope I dont need a new charger. If anyone can find me an adapter for this I would be greatful. It might be better just to sell this off to someone who has a charger for this style..I dont know. Any info would be great since im clueless..lol

This might work. Take a look at the end that plugs into the charger to see if the colors match up...Team Losi Battery Balance Board Adapter, Hitec & Common Sense Chargers: Thunder Power [LOSB9653] | RC Cars & Trucks - NitroHouse.com

@buggynutt
Yes , tp balance leads are different from the norm. Post a pick of your wire that goes from your charger to the balance boards. I have a few thunder power boards from various chargers. I may be able to help you out.

That link you posted will work just fine. Unplug the wire from your current balance board and plug into the new one. You will be able to charge all balance plug styles with that balance board.

Just learned something. I did not know there is more than one type of balance lead.

It's weird how there's an internationally accepted standard that works really well, but some doofus wants to reinvent the wheel.

This might be some good info for everyone. I had no clue until now either. So if I buy the balance board I found as linked above I will be all set for all batteries. Correct? Thanks for all the help
