Deans are good connectors, I just don't like the huge spark they allow when putting them together. I jump every time. I just installed some XT60's and really like them. The XT60's will only go together one way like a Deans too.

But every one has their choices and like. If you used Deans and like them, keep with them. Unless you get a wild hair to change all your connectors.

I went with simple bullet connectors from my ESC to motor. Easy to install, and doesn't add much bulk to the wiring.

I use deans on my motor/ESC connections....works great. No spark because there isn't power flowing through that connection unless you're on the throttle.

All things circular, doing the bull dance, feelin the flow...

I recently started swapping my stuff to XT60, as well. I really like them so far, except that wire doesn't go into the female plug as far as the male during assembly. Kinda weird but, that's probably just my OCD. They work well and are easier to unplug than Deans.

As for motor to ESC, I still use bullets. HH sends me REALLY good ones!

Dean's work great for the battery to ESC connection, but for the ESC to Motor I think solder works the best.

Soldering works the best, But Ive done deans on cars im always tearing into And never had an issue. I also would put heat shrink over both deans plugs and just cut it off if i needed to take it apart. Im just wierd that way. I also like 3.5mm gold bullet connectors.
You'll Be ok with any of the above mentioned ways. Just dont put no taymia plugs on there.

Deans for the win!
Easy to use and cheap - Also 95% of the guys I run with use them as well. So it's easy to borrow a lipo or motor if something goes wrong.
