Default Fixed endbell motor ?

So if I am running a fixed endbell motor, do I want a reverse rotation motor?

Swap the wires at the motor.

If there is timing, reverse the wire will shorten the life of the motor. How does the timing fixed? if by a small notch, just file it off and adjust the timing accordingly. If they use a tab and then the timing is possibly not adjustable.

It there is zero timing, its ok to swap the wire.
