Default Steering Exponential

For radios with steering dual rate / exponential, what is the best way to set it up.

Do you want it to be ultra sensitive right off of neutral?

Or would it be better to be dead right off of neutral?

Maybe it is a matter of personal preference?

If you are running at high speeds, you want it dead or almost dead off neutral....you want to move your steering wheel farther and not get alot of steering. You don't want it to twitch into a guard rail if you fart.

If you're running low speeds, I would say its personal preference at that point.

But that's half the fun. At low speeds I'd say right in the middle would be a good place to start and then go from there trying a little bit at a time in one direction and the same in the other until you find a spot/setting that you like.

I wouldn't mess with the steering exponential on a crawler...but its personal preference

Although expo on the throttle for real fine control of the lower speeds is nice with a crawler.
