There should be a sticky about this seeing as how a search brings up 1,000,000 threads! Currently have: HH Crawlmaster 13T HH BRXL (waterproof) Fatuba R2004GF RX Castle BEC Will get Castle link to get it off of 6v if needed Battery will be going into my wraith under the hood, so looking for 2s or 3s and likely 2 batteries and a charger. Problem is that there are a million options and this has me confused. Obviously budget minded, anyone's input will be greatly appreciate. But seriously, we need a TX/RX sticky and a Battery/Charger sticky in this part of the forum! |

A million threads come up because its mostly a personal preference situation when it comes to what you are wanting to know. The variables to such a broad question can large. I will say to make some of your searching a bit easier and to help narrow things down a bit, make your search with a couple words vs. a single word and also put them in "quotes" "3s lipo charger" will come up with a tremendous less amount of suggested threads then 3s lipo charger. As would "wraith lipo" vs. wraith lipo, surely help to narrow things down greatly. But to simply send out a question in a post, such as asking for battery and charger suggestions.... Just like your broad search result, the answers/replies could be endless. With a bit of added info of your needs, wants, expectations, power supply, ac or dc etc... people may be able to better direct you. . |

I like SPC lipo batteries. I have had great success with them and they have good customer support. Plus they are priced well. SPC Racing Bad part is, not everything is always in stock.

-Do you have a price point in mind? -How long do you want to wait for a battery to be charged? -Is quality and safety a high priority or are you willing to roll the dice? These questions are geared toward a charger recommendation. Lipo's...any brand is fine for crawling/trailing use. |

I'm just a newbie, but I have had great success with a Duratrax Onyx 235 charger. I have used it to balance charge 2s and 3s lipos. I paid $90 at my LHS. They have used the 235 for about 4 years without fail. They told me they charge approximately 30 batteries per week. I also like that you can connect it to your car battery to charge your lipo at the trail head. As for the battery, don't listen to me I sux at buying good batteries.
