In my LCC I started with 2S 1600mAh (Turnigy), because I found a pack that fit snugly in the stock battery holder.
After getting new motor and ESC that could handle more voltage I tried running two of them in series, which worked fine, so I got some 4S 1000mAh (Turnigy Nanotech) packs.

I still use those 2S packs when kids get to try my rig, and I also use them for my son's RS10.

The Losi Micro crawler runs 2S 180mAh (Turnigy Nanotech) because of size limitations.

I have a small boat that I run with 2S 850mAh (Zippy Compact).

I have a 30+ years old Tamiya Holiday Buggy for which I use some crappy No Name 6 cell 4000mAh NiMH.

3s on everything.
Sawback - 1300mah due to size
My other scalers - used to be 2200mah, but switching to 1300mah for packaging reasons
