| Esc placement
Hi all .. Am relatively new to scale trailing and crawling. Just got myself a axial Dingo kit. Also the scx10 dig unit to go with it. Now after the build is almost done i cant figure out where to exactly place my ESC as the dig unit has taken up the space for the esc as per the manual. For electronics i have one traxxas standard wp servo for the dig engager hitech wp servo for the stering and novak eiger esc and teraclaw 35 turn motor. Would like to know if its ok to place the esc on the traxxas servo ?? Will the servo's internals interfere with the esc's functioning ? The esc is small enough to fit there and also both wires from the esc and motor being short it seems like a good placement. Thanks . |

On my SCX10 truggy I'm running the RC4WD two speed trans which also takes up alot of space. I used some Velcro and put it right on top of the servo. No issues at all. With a Dingo you might run into some clearance issues though? Do a Google search on "Dingo ESC mounting". You'll probably find tons of layout for it. |

Cool !! Thanks a lot Norton. Will surely look it up . Just wasn't sure if the placement would damage the esc or not . Sent from my iPad using Tapatalk HD |

Another option, Mount your battery sideways and mount everything up front: Jevne Racing Recon Brick SCX10 Battery Plate Or something like this: Ajs Machine Axial SCX10 ESC Mount There are alot of options! Cheers. |

Yeah saw these options when i googled for the dingo esc mounts ... But dont think i will be ordering any more parts .. I stay in India and ordering stuff from the US costs a bomb. So guess will try mounting it on the servo ,just need to check the clearance issue like you said. Well thanks again buddy. Will put some pics once its done . Sent from my iPad using Tapatalk HD |
