Hey guys! I need some infor on the airtronics mt4, futaba 4pls, or spektrum dx4s or r. I need a 4 channel to run the 2 position transmission and then I need a 3 position channel to run my lighting. The lighting switch I have requires 3 position switch to operate seperate circuits through on channel offered by heyok. I have been unable to find information on the auxiliary channels on the listed remotes. One of the auxiliary channels needs to be 3 position similar to the dx3e for the lighting. Any help would be much appreciated.

I know I'm a broken record, but the hacked GT3B from Overkill RC will do all that and more (8 Channels) for $50.

You can find the information you want in the manuals for the various radios. Here is the manual for the 4PLS. It will show you it has programmable switches that will do what you want. http://manuals.hobbico.com/fut/4pls-manual.pdf I will let you Google search for the manuals for the other radios. You should check the hacked GT3B/GT3C out. Nice radio at a great prices. FlySky |

I was contemplating the gt3b or gt3c. Are they really that awesome? They sound cool...I Dont necessarily need a 3 position switch just one that will rock like the dx3e. I have read through some manuals online. But my other issue is receiver size. I Dont have much room in my twin hammers

the dx4s aux channels can be set to 2p, 3p (like dx3e not return to centre) or 3m(true 3 pos) in the menu. tony |

The 3-channel receiver for the GT3B is the size of a postage stamp and can accommodate a BEC in addition to a third servo.

Is there any noticeable lag with the FlySky when crawling? I've read about lag issues but it only seems like that would be an issue racing high speed.

Picked up a DX4S for 179.99. I played with it a bit last night. I really like all its functions. The issues I was having was not being able to find any locally. I ended up in salem oregon after making phone calls all over the portland area looking for any 4 channel pistols. I purchased mine from RC Plus. They also had hte airtronics Mt4 which looked like a great radio, the lever swich did not have a return to center, it was more of a linear style lever. For that reason I bought the DX4S as the switches appeared to have better functions for what I was looking for and my needs in an RC. Also the spektrum offers waterproof receivers and a backlit screen unlike the airtronics. I also liked the feel of the spektrum a little better.

| Re: transmitter suggestions I did a short bit with SC racing a couple years ago (box stock Traxxas Slash) at a local track and I never noticed any lag with my GT3B. But I'm no way a pro...

Would have got the GT3C, but overkill was out of them and did not know when they would be available. I only needed to run a 4 channel for the heyok dual power dimmer and light switch to control two set of lights seperately. I figured for 80 more dollars,(I know almost double the price) I could have the dx4s today and the switches will work for what I want to do.
