Default How do you adjust trim for esc's?

Hi all,

I have an xr10 with dual smashed HH BR minis and futaba 4pl.

I got the dual esc configured with Harley's awesome videos

I got both esc to work and setup the trim like he shows.

The issue I had after that is the front motor wouldn't go until I played with the trim (set to like B33) and then had to raise CH4 trim to like D33 to get rear motor to turn.

So this bring my questions:
Is this the right way to do it?

And

How do you calibrate or adjust the trim for esc so that it is adjusted properly? Am I getting full throttle? Should I change something in the castle software to negate the trim in the futaba?

Thanks to all in advance

Nevermind, I didn't know you have to calibrate full foward and reverse with tx first. That took care of it
