Default Tamiya J Motor

Last night my well loved Tekin 35T HD smoked. For a replacement I ordered two Tamiya J motors. Has anyone ran one of these in an SCX10 on 3S on a regular basis? I needed a motor quick as the HH will take 1-2 weeks. Can it handle a 3S?

If you have the stock Ae2 esc in it, they can handle 3s, just not very long or take a beating with it
