Default Honcho electronics voltage question?

What voltage can the stock rx and light control board handle up to on the stock RTR honcho? I want to run a bec to get more out of the stock servo for now but I don't want to fry the light kit on the truck. I tried looking up the info on axials website but they really don't go into detail about any of their electronics.

I'm running a 6V 5A BEC on my Honcho (stock ESC and 6 light kit AX24257) and I haven't had any problems (yet).

I run my ccbec set to 7.4v

I've had no issue with my simple light controller.

I did have a failure of my original FlySky rx
so I swapped that out for my original Axial AE-3 rx
I don't know what the voltage limit is for the Axial rx
but so far... mine has held up to running 7.4v thru it.

Your best bet would be to wire the servo directly to the BEC and let the internal BEC if the speed control give the 6v to the receiver. Running 7.4 through that stuff, although will work, it will definitely shorten the life.

I also would go much higher on the stock servo, maybe 6.5 or something like that, as it won't survive long either.

Invest in some solar on the cheap side, or hitec higher voltage servos would be the best option .
