| Few problems with a lt4 esc
I got this in trade. Looks to be brand-new. It is the 120 amp one. I have two other ones. Never one problem. I had an LT4 in my scx 10 before. Seem to do pretty good. I have the same censored motor, same gearing and tires. I tossed it back in. headed out a few friends. I calibrated it to my radio. Motor has a good bit more power and torque. Running it with my friends just checking things out. The motor is hot. Like uncomfortable to touch hot. I think you need the ezrun program box to check what it has in it. Can't find mine right now.. Any ideas? not running anymore. Don't need to waste another motor. Thanks guys |

Sounds like either too much timing, something is binding in the drivetrain, or something wrong with the motor.

Then it might be the timing on the esc.

You can adjust timing with the programming box, or change programming with the usb adapter. Are you running that motor sensored, and are you sure its spinning the proper direction? |

You cannot run a sensored motor backwards with the sensor wire connected. The HW v1 box should work. |

Turn the timing off or down as far as you can (depends on how it is programmed) and do the trans flip mod so that the motor will spin like it is supposed to and move the rig in the direction is it supposed to.
