| roc 412 over heating
roc 412 is overheating gearing is 64/9 rig is scx weighing in at a little over 9# any thoughts as to why pulled my 13.5 redline out that was running 4s and it never got hot at all can not figure it out the gear mesh is set correctly and the bearings r all new. any help would be greatly appreciated . |

Where is the timing set on the ESC? The redlines are 2 pole and need a little timing to open them up. The ROC is a 4 pole motor and does not take to timing well. Just a thought. |

ok it had 6* on it i also shut the cheat mode off. i will run it tomorrow and see if that helps but seemed to have a lot more power as well
