| ubec headache
hi all please can you tell me if i can run 7.4v 2s lipos through this ubec , i have tried it and it seems to work fine and showing all correct led light sequences as it should as per instructions when fitted and wired properly , but it says input 8v and 3-10 lipos ?? thanks greatly in advance for any help |

I would think it would work, but it could have issues with stability when the 2s lipo gets below the stated input voltage. A castle BEC is $20. Best money you will spend, and a very well known product.

It should work but people should just spend a few extra bucks and get the better stuff.A CC bec is the best bang for your buck.

thanks greatly both , it seems to work perfectly , i just didnt know if there would be issues ? things are usually ok if you undervolt as opposed to frying if you overvolt ? it was only intended to feed one titanum gear 17kg servo that feeds off 4-6v ? the lipo guard cuts off at 3.3v for 2s and 3s so that seems to check out , and im in the uk and we just cant get the cc bec here ?? i have tried believe me ! ........ thanks guys
