Vaterra Slick Rock ESC issue???

Had this question in the wrong area. Hopefully in the right place now.

First I will say hello, I`m new to this crawler thing but been wanting to try it out for awhile. So today I picked up a used Slick Rock from the local hobby shop.

Problem I am having is once I charged up the battery and turned it on nothing happens. No beeping and only the red light on the esc flashes 4 times and that is it,then nothing. The only other light is a solid green on the receiver .
I searched but no luck on this or I missed it. Been awhile for me doing the forum thing.

try changing the batteries in the remote to a good battery and rebinding. The batteries that it comes with are not very good. I had this problem with my MRC a long time ago.

Thanks for reply. I tried different batteries, I`ve tried to program the esc but nothing happens. I put power to the motor and it works so I just gave in and ordered a new esc and will go from there.
