| Brushless ESC for brushed motor
So I'm having issues with my esc it is the hpi flux blur which from what I understand is the mamba monster. So I reset all settings and the changed it to brushed high power. Then wired it all up. Turned it on and set my end points for the receiver. Then nothing. When I pull forward is green them reverse is red but it doesn't move. I have played with the ports to see if I had them wrong. I even tried to change it to brushed reversing. Here are a few shots of what I have. Any help would be great as I want to make sure it's not bad and I got a bad deal from someone. Esc Castle link |

Try changing the motor type to brushed-reversing, not brushed high power.. I had it on that setting also with other castle esc's I've had and they wouldn't work with it on that...also, on the basic settings, the top line where it says auto lipo cutoff...it has 4.0 for the setting, change that to 3.2 or 3.3 or something else...it may be going into lvc (low voltage cutoff)...all of my castle esc's have had 3.2 or 3.3 (whatever I decide to go with) on that top line and also in the auto lipo cutoff box...

Im pretty sure brushed high power requires you to use all three wires to power the negative side of the motor and a direct battery lead to the positive. Also that means no reverse.

What you want is to program the ESC to the normal brushed mode, and it should run just fine! | |
