Default Tekin t35

I have a t35 Tekin in my Wraith with the stock ESC from the ready to run version. My Question....
Is the t35 made to run on two cell or three cell?
Can the rtr esc that came with the wraith handle 3s?

Right now it has bunch of torque but very very slow on 2 cell. I forget my gear ratios.

You can run that motor with a 3s lipo...and the stock esc in your wraith will handle 3s power fine, but you will have to put a bec on it...you can also regear it to get more speed out of your motor on 2s...but I'm not sure what you'll need to change it to.. I'm currently running a novak 55t in my wraith on 3s with an axial ae-2 esc...geared at 24/75 , and I'm real happy with my speeds

Thanks for tips! I will try it on 3s and see how it reacts with the gearing I have now! will report back.

Gave both 2s and 3s a try. Seems the 2s has more torque that the 3 cell does. There did not seem to be a big difference. I will check gearing as I forget what ratios they are.

Top speed right now is probably four mph...but again it has a ton of pull on 2s.

I'm running a Castle Sidewinder SV2 with a Tekin T35 HD on 2s with OD gears in both diffs for some more speed. The stock esc needs a bec to run 3s. Geared at 18/87 48p

I have a bec hooked up! What do you mean by OD gears....can you link me to where I could find them? I would rather stay with a 2 cell and a bit more speed!

OD equals over drive gears, you can get them from RPP. and there is no way 2s gives you more speed go back to 3s
