What`s the name on this LED? Get a 3w Cree on a 20mm star chip, 5x as bright as a cob only cost about $1-3, just make sure you don't use more than 3v and if you do you'll need a led driver and heatsink. The led itself is only about 6mm in diameter |
Re: What`s the name on this LED? Hmm...you are a smart guy :-) Can you please help me whit a link on where to buy Cree led? Thanks :-D |
What`s the name on this LED? http://bit.ly/RozCAh16 mm http://bit.ly/RoA9SE 20mm http://bit.ly/RoAhlf 20mm http://bit.ly/RoAqVJ small led driver |

It's a cob like stated above. Circuit on board. Also Cree is a manufacturer of led lights and the like so don't get confused with Cree being an actual type of led. Dropping a cree ho bulb onto a heatsink chip also works, depends on build type, voltage, space, etc. Personally I use cob eagle-eyes pre wired on 12 volt. More than enough light! http://im1.shutterfly.com/media/47a4...D315/ry%3D315/ pretty crappy pic but I'm on the road so its all I have on my phone at the moment. Pic does it no justice |
