Okay I am use to sensor less brushless motors. I have just upgraded to all metal gears and now it is time to upgrade to a brushless system I am use to the speed of a 3300 to 6500 kv brushless system. Why should I go sensored instead? I have a 330 kv motor and brushless ESC standing by. What would be the issue with putting that in.

I moved this to electronics. I have run non-sensored brushless motors in a crawler rig (Traxxas Velineon) and it was very fun. The issue is if you want to do any slow driving. If you are always moving and bouncing over stuff the sensorless is fine, if you try to do any slow, technical driving the motor will cog and jump. The slow technical is where the sensored motor makes the difference. |
