Default timing and running motor backwards

i just got my VP hurtz dig installed and it requires you to rotate your skid plate 180 so this makes my truck go in reverse. what is the proper way to fix this with a HH35t with 6degrees advanced timing? reverse my radio? swap motor leads? flop diff gears in the axle? or just set the timing to 0?

ohh this is for a SCX10

Spin the motor end bell 180*. That will reverse the motor rotation.

Well, Rotate it to zero on the other side. If you just rotate it 180, you will have 6 degrees negative timing.....in any case, you are going to have to rotate the endbell and reset the timing correctly. Swapping leads or radio/esc settings will have it running with -6 degrees of timing....
