How would I make a custom light bar???

Hi guys just wondering how I would make a light bar for my scx10. Mainly looking for stuff to do with the electronics etc. it will be run from the axial stock receiver with the input voltage of 7.2v if that matters??? :)

you can connect two led's together in a "series string" with a current limiting resistor per pair then have multiple strings in parallel, i did a custom lightbar that way with the current limiting resistor value chosen based on a full 2s voltage of 8.4v.

i have 2 0.5w smd led's in series and then 5 series strings connected in parallel, total of 10 0.5w led's but with the current limit resistors they are only putting out around 3w or just over of light but still hurts the eyes lol
