Default Sidewinder or MMP

Im just wondering what the difference is if any between a sidewinder v3 and a MMP in brushed mode. I have both already. The MMP is in my stampede with a sensored motor. I like having the sensor in the pede so it is smooth at slow speeds. The sv3 is in my scx based bronco build. The scx is getting pretty heavy tho. Im running a 35t brushed motor now but it will soon be a 55t brushed with a 2 speed tranny. Is the sidewinder strong enough for this truck or should i swap them out. The pede is only 2wd and very light weight compared to the bronco. I just like the smaller size of the sv2 in the scaler so its easier to hide. And i like the stupid fast and smoothness of the MMP in the pede. Any input is greatly appreciated thanks!

I dont think there would be a noticeable difference between the two with a brushed motor. unless you want to run more than 3s the sidewinder should do just aswell brushed.

Thats what i was hoping but i wasnt 100% just cause the MMP is so much bigger. I thought maybe it had a higher amp rating. I would hate to kill the sv3 for no reason lol

I am in agreement. Very little difference at all, and in brushed mode, should probably be nearly identical, as the castle link setups are as well.

I like that the Sidewinder is smaller (but I wouldn't exactly call it small), cheaper and waterproof. Fitted one in a SCX10.
