power hd servos are not bad, but not bulletproof. i used one in my scx, but once it got some water, and now the motor motor works only. for servo winch is perfect!

I like 'em. Got one steering and the other is a winch. I don't know that they are superior to other cheap servos, but they are certainly another option.

I have one I got for free and I love it. It does what i need. I use it as a backup for my rigs and it works great for all applications. I ran mine in wet grass and it was fine. Did all right through a mud puddle too. I would show you my stampede now but I am on vacation. It is soaked in mud.

It'd be safer for you if you didn't.

One nice thing about these servos is that they are NOT digital. That means it doesn't draw nearly as much power as a similar digital servo.
