Default Could use some help with CC BEC install

I was not able to get the CC BEC to work with the futaba receiver.

Here's what I have - From battery > MMP ESC & CC BEC > ESC into Ch2 receiver.

CC BEC with extension (red wire cut) into CH1.

Hitec 7955TG into CH3?

Receiver doe snot power ON.

Do I have this backwards?

I can't find a wire diagram that shows a Futaba RS and a CC BEC setup. I am new to BEC's.

OK - I was way off. I didn't plug the BEC into the power port of the receiver :(
Here's a question..

I have the CC programmable card for my ESC's. Can I program the CC BEC with this also?

If you have the Field Link for Air then it can program the CC BEC. If you have the Field Link for Car then no, it can not.

Can I ask why you have the BEC plugged in with the red wire cut? With it being plugged in that way your effectively not using it and using the mmp internal BEC instead.

If it was me I would purchase a y harness. Plug the BEC into one half if the y and the servo into the other . Make sure polarities are matching, then cut the red and black from the plug that goes to the receiver and just plug in the signal wire to control the servo . Let the internal BEC power the receiver and you should be good.

Does that make any sense?

Or at least worst case to utilize the castle BEC you will need to get an extension with the red wire and pull the I've out if your mmp plug.

Good luck

Shouldn't your servo have gone in CH1 ?

And, yes, if you've cut the red wire between your BEC and the receiver, you've effectively disconnected the BEC.

Although ........ you didn't mention cutting/pulling any wires on the ESC's plug, I wonder why that thing didn't power up the receiver.

Something(s) in your description doesn't sound right at all. Take some time, look over your setup again, and try to more accurately describe where you've got things.

CC has a PDF that shows how it must be wired. CC BEC Ribbon cable goes into the Bind/Battery port on the receiver. The ribbon cable from the ESC must have the red wire pulled out or cut (I would pull it if it was mine...just lift the plastic prong in the pin housing and slip it out and heat shrink it). The the red and black wires go to the battery. You can solder them to the power plug or use a Y cable.

Here's the CC PDF link http://www.castlecreations.com/suppo...user_guide.pdf

And here's the pic
