|  LIPO CutOff Question
Hey guys - total newb to Lipo's .. I have a few questions ... My kids both have the Mini Savage electric trucks that were released a while back .. I have them running on 6 cell GP1100's .. Now i wanted to get them new batteries and was looking to get them lipo's ... Is the cutoff on the battery or the esc ? does the esc have to be compatible with lipo's ? |

The cut off is internal on the speed control. If yours does not have one which is possible given its age and brand you can buy a "smart stop" lipo cut off that you plug between the battery and speed control

The cutoff is in the ESC itself. Assuming your kids have the savage XS with the vapor ESC I would it has the cutoff within the esc, you will just need to review the manual and figure out how to turn it on. Otherwise if you tell us what your running electronic wise, someone can surely point you in the right direction. good luck |
