Default is 30c enough for pro4?

My 2.2 wraith is running a mmp and ro4 3300 on a 50c 2 cell right now but I'm looking for more power. The only 3 cells I have are 2200mah 30c. Is this enough c rating or am I going to most likely puff these in short order?

I run 2200 20c in my ttc rig and they are just fine. So long as you're not full throttle start to finish you won't be drawing enough amps to hurt the battery.

My 3656sd puffs 2200mah 25c 3s packs. I think you are probably at the point of getting by but not with a lot of safety margin. Like WT said how you use it makes a huge difference. Stuff like full throttle pulls with all the tires underwater pulls many times more current than bombing around on the trails.

That's kind of what I was thinking but just wanted some feedback as well. Thanks guys. Now I'll try and grab a few higher c packs just in case.

Hrm.. I didnt think about C ratings when I ordered my Pro4 and lipo setup.

Going to be running a 3300kv Pro4 with a Mamba Max Pro on a 3s 5000mah 20c lipo. Trans is the AX2 2 speed Wraith trans... This rig is a crawler / basher and will see a bit of full speed run time going against the neighborhood slashs..

Anyone predict any immediate problems battery wise? Would hate to smoke a new battery.

You can get away with lower c ratings when you use large capacity batteries. I run 20c 5000 Mah 3s in my exo with no puffing and the batteries just barely get warm.

Volting up kinda of alleviates the c rating.

Although I don't own any, I have heard they are decent batteries
