Default Dipping into hand-wound world

In my honcho, I've been running a lathe 35t (3s) on a BRX-l for some time now but looking to pick up something with some more wheel-speed for those hill climbs and some smoothness off the line. Torque has been plenty as I've kept my rig as light as possible.

Thinking about 30t's from either of the common hound-wound companies mentioned here (not trying to start a vs thread) but I'm just trying to get some confirmation that going this route will provide the upgrade I'm looking for.
