If all your electronics will survive 8.4 volts ( fully charged 2s lipo) then hardwire them to the main battery. Most servos will not survive extended use at such high voltages.

Its more efficient to run a bec. No pack worth using will be as small.

The castle bec is 10amps and works well for others as well as myself. Lights, winch and steering servo all at once... No issues for me.

If you want to power 2 servos AND a winch I would look at castles BEC pro. I ran one on my super running 3 servos without issue.

I would plan on 4-6 amps per item you want to run. Castle BEC pro is 20 amps. If packaging it all in a confined space is an issue 2 standard castle BEC'S will also work but would require some additional separation of the wiring.

BEC pro for the win!

well i will probly just run the winch right from the battery since the winch can handle the voltage but i am also building a 6x6 that i plan on doing 6ws so ill get the castle pro for that one and just use the regular one for this truck how easy are they to program? i wish the heyok on was higher amp rating its just a screw on the side

If you have a castle link and the software already set up from castle esc programming, the bec takes literally 30seconds to setup. If you don't, buy it from your lhs with the stipulation that you need it programmed for you.

Software is free..... Download from cc website. Castle link is what you will need to buy, even tho they used to be free with esc purchace long ago. But is great investment to be able to use on cc escs and the like along with bec programing.

Or post a few more times and get one in classifieds. Most people will program them for you

Also if it was me I would split the BEC feed and feed the servos directly with the power. Then run the signals to the receiver. I would let the receiver be powered from the esc and just power the winch from there. If you have the room with the winch controller for the voltage then it could be hard wired as well.

Good luck
