Default wraith signal issues?

I have an axial wraith rtr. While I'm running my wraith It seems to lose it's signal. It won't go, steering doesn't seem to be working as it did when it was new. If I walk up to it and give it a nudge or pull the trigger a couple of times then it goes. I've only ran it about 5 times. And it has a Venom NiMH 6-cell 7.2v 3000mAh battery. Any ideas?

Is the lipo cutoff turned off in the esc since your not running a lipo?

I live in the desert and this is the dry season, so not getting it wet. I've been using it straight out of the box, so I haven't even looked at the wires. I can barely see the esc not sure about the lights. And I'm running a nimh battery so no lipo (yet). Unless by battery it toast It was freshly charged.
I now have some investigating to do. Thanks guys!

check the temps of the esc and motor. the stock gearing causes it to get hot. I had the same thing happening to me, thought I was loosing signal, turns out it was getting too hot and now my esc is toast.

No not saying your battery is toast, but if the lipo cutoff is turned on ( which I think it is out of the box) then it would shut your truck down in not very much time after you started driving.

I would pull the esc out of the clip and check if it's off using the manual. If it's not, that is likely causing your issue.
