Tekin FXR issues
 

I can't find any info any where on this, but this is the second FXR system I had, issue is, the motor won't spin unless I give it a turn, and as soon as the motor stops, it won't spin, no matter how long you hold the throttle.
I've cleaned the motor, shaved the commutator and cleaned the brushes, everything runs, but the motor needs to be spun, so I swapped in another new motor, and the same.
My other 2 crawlers also use the same system with no issues.

I'm getting real pissed with this system. :evil:

I ordered the CC SV3.

Sounds like a hung brush, but.. Since you swapped out motors and the same thing happened, it shouldn't be the case..

Did you solder the ESC up? Might want to check the solder job at the posts.
If the lights on the ESC are lighting up correctly, it typically isn't the ESC.

I have had a dozen fxr's, easy.. It was the most reliable ESC on the market, smallest, and can handle anything! (That I should throw at it) alot of 4s action..

I'm guessing it's also the motor, I hooked a battery pack direct to the motor and it only spun when I spun the shaft. The other motor did the same.
I also do not use the capacitor with it either, dunno what it's purpose is for, but it has run the same since it fell off a few months back.
