Default Marine ESC on land??

has or does any one run a waterproof esc in there land based vehicle?
i was think of running this esc in a scaler Pro Boat Waterproof ESC with Reverse: 4.8-12V (PRB2314) | Horizon Hobby - Radio Control R/C Planes, RC Airplanes, RC Helis and Helicopters, RC Cars, RC Trucks, RC Truggys, RC Boats, RC Radios, RC Engines, parts, hop-ups, and accessories

there is no cooling tubes handle big power and has a 6 volt bec. any input would be great

In my opinion; i wouldnt. I'd look for a water proof traxxs xl-5. Or a dynamite tazer 12t with crawler mode would be your best bet.

I think Marine ESC don't have brakes/drag brakes in their firmware, since a boat don't need one!

Since this build is for my daughter and it's is not for any type of comp drag brake or brake is really an issue

Most marine escs also use water cooling. It might stay cool enough since its not locked inside a boat but there is no real heat sink on them

If you're not using Losi worm axles, a car with no brakes is pretty useless.. It won't stop rolling after you let go of the "gas"

This will do the job, for cheaper...

My Tazer 10T died very prematurely. Have read nothing but bad comments about Dynamite ESCs.
