Default Tactic TSX45 servo vs stock honcho servo

well I am looking to buy a stronger steering servo but I do not want to spend too much on one so i was considering the tactic since it is fairly cheap

OR if anyone has a better sugestion of a stronger servo for under about $25 I'm all ears

thanks in advance everyone

No such thing as a strong, durable, servo for $25. I would consider both the Tactic and the stock Axial servo to be temporary place holders until you can afford a real servo.

Pony up at least $40 for either a Savox 1251, or a Hitec 5685. Both are about 200oz/in and will serve well in an under 6.5 pound 1.9 tired SCX. Once you start upping the trucks weight, or tire size, you really need a stronger servo. I've run both in a stock SCX and find them adequate, but I'm used to 400+ oz/in, $100+ servos.

Trust me, you'll either spend less money, multiple times as they break, on cheap servos, or spend more money once on a good servo.

Go with the solar! Its all I run. Good for high voltage. Running mine on 8 volts. Works well on my wraith with 2.2's

yea I suppose the price I picked is a bit too low.
But no way i will ever spend 100+ on a servo.
I don't have a whole lot of spare $ to fuel my hobby in this.
My number one hobby is 1:1 crawling/wheeling in my Cherokee soo that's pretty expensive in itself lol.

thanks for the help guys,
