Default Help. Throttle controlling throttle and steering

Okay I'm pretty stumped. Everything has been perfect until today when I turn on the car I noticed the steering turned both ways full lock. I thought that was a bit odd but brought the jeep out anyways. We'll I get it outside and set it down but when i give it throttle it moves a few inches and the steering turns full lock right. I let off the throttle and the steering returns but twitches slightly. I don't see any bare wires or anything unusual so I'm guessing something internal somewhere must have gone bad. Anyone ever had a similar experience or could point me in any kind of direction?

I have seen a defective servo do this in a 1/16 grave digger. Plug in another servo and see if it jumps when you hit the throttle.

If you run a bec (which you should) make sure it is giving proper voltage, I had a rig do something similar.

Sure enough I plug in a different servo and it's fine. Im still confused how it would get power from another channel though. Yes I am running a bed and I figured it would be logical for something like that to be bad than the actual servo. I've never had it in water and I keep it inside. Thank you all for the replies!

When a servo fails like this it draws a lot of amperage, this screws up the RX causing all kinds of glitches.

Well I feel kinda dumb now. I pulled the servo off with intentions to take it apart and examine it. We'll the signal wire had snagged between the frame and transmission leaving the bare wire to rub on the inside of the frame rails. Thank you again everyone for shooting some input my way.
