Finally got a servo programmer!

I've been eyeing these things for a long time, and I wasn't sure which one I wanted to get but ended up with this one:

I've got about 4 high dollar 7 series hitec servo's on mine and my girlfriends crawlers and I wanted to protect them. I set all the overload protections at 50% to see how I like it, and opened up the deadband from 1 to 4. I wanted it specifically for increasing the servo travel on my shafty.

Every thing seems to be good like that right now, but I don't have much wheel time in yet.

What options can be set? I guess this is brand specific?

Re: Finally got a servo programmer!

It says that it works with multiple brands. I doubt that there are very many that work with it though. Probably only brands that use a Hitec g2 programmable circuit. Maybe JR uses the same circuit? I don't know. It works with my 7 series servos for most programming. Many others will work with it, but they won't be programmable, only testing will work. I like it for end point adjustments, overload protection, servo rotation degree and direction, dead band width adjustment, and it will verify BEC output as well as many other things that I have not had a use for as of yet.

Well it works on my older digital servo's, my 5955's and another 5 series I'm able to adjust the end points to get 180* rotation! That was unexpected!
