Default Lipo for leds

I want to buy a small 2 cell lipo to run all my lights on my G6. I use gens ace but I'm just wondering what a good size one will be to run my lights that won't go dead after a few runs. I plan on just plugging a lipo alarm into it. Thanks.

Without knowing what you have for lights, its not possible to give you a recommendation on what battery to use. Unless you are running high amp lights you are probably better off just running a single battery and powering the lights off the RX.

I'm running a 3 cell and I have the axial nvs that has to run on 2 cell. I have 9 leds on my rig.

A small battery pack like 600Mah to 800Mah 25C would power it for a long time. However, You probably would be better off getting a BEC to power the NVS and just run a single battery.

With a separate battery you may end up having to connect the black wires together to prevent strange issues with the NVS.

I am not a real fan of the NVS, I use the lighting controllers from HeyOk.

I do have a bec installed for my servo set to run at 6 volts. So could I could just plug them into the reciever now and it'd be fine?

this wizard may be helpful in determining your LED voltage requirements and wiring necessary.

The instructions say not to go over 2s lipo so I'm assuming that I can just run it off my reciever since I have a bec set at 6 volts. Correct?

You can give it a try, but it may cause glitching when the various LEDs turn on or off.

I don't have any turn signals or anything hooked up. Just front and rear lights and roof light bar. So none are turning off and on. But I guess I'll just try it and see what happens.

I tested my light setup runtime the other day. I have 3 2" led strips with 3 12v led in each. it ran for 3 hours 35 minutes with a 450mah 3s gens ace battery. at that point the individual cells were about 3.6v on average. it very well may have ran longer
