Steering servo(s) not working

Complete noobie,at least somewhat. I picked up a rtr wraith poison Spyder last week. All good until 11 yo daughter decided to take it over. I was given permission to get another one for myself. Picked up a regular rtr wraith. Before anything, I moved the battery to the front and the esc to the rear on the new one. After charging the battery, started it up and didn't have any steering at all.

Tested the poison Spyder steering servo by plugging it into the new rtr and I worked. So I determined the new servo was bad.

To eliminate all possibilities, I plugged the "bad" servo into the poison Spyder esc, and no surprise it didn't work. I plugged the "working" servo back into the poison Spyder esc, and now it doesn't work.??????

Any suggestions?
