| Mamba Max Pro and sensor problem
Okay, so I have 4 MMPs that I run on various cars. 2 in my clod and 1 in my SC10. Every single time I try to use the sensor port with a MMP the motor switches rotation and performance is pretty much terrible. I get hesitation at low speed, and partial power in one direction. What is odd is that I know all of the motors and the sensor wires are perfectly fine. I had a hobbywing 120 amp ESC die in my SC10 recently which is why i replaced it with the MMP. I can not get the motor and ESC to perform properly with the sensor wired up. Does anyone have any suggestions for this problem? As an FYI the motor is a 3800 KV in the SC10, and I have used 4800 KV SC4X Tekin motors and now 5600 KV 4 pole turnigy motors for the Clod. Same problem with both sets of motors. Switching the polarity of the motor leads does not change the direction either. It just seems to short something out. The final nugget is that all of the hardware I buys is from EBAY, so it is possible that the ESCs were all damaged which is why I have been able to buy them for 40 to 50 bucks each. Thanks all. |

Use a Castle Link to program the esc.
