brushless servo is the same like digital servo?which is good for crawler? brushless servo is the same like digital servo?which is good for crawler? |
Re: brushless servo is the same like digital servo?which is good for crawler? Brushless is the motor type of the servo, which is independent of digital/analog. Digital are much more precise but consume more power, which I've found to be minimal. I prefer brushless digital servos in my crawlers. I run the Hitec 7950th and Solar D772. Both are digital and Solar has held up to quite a bit and is very strong. The Hitec is stronger but 6-7x more expensive. Hope this helps! |
Re: brushless servo is the same like digital servo?which is good for crawler? I think Digital |
Re: brushless servo is the same like digital servo?which is good for crawler? Digital servos come in Brushless and Coreless. |
Re: brushless servo is the same like digital servo?which is good for crawler? why i see always brushless servo is more expensive than a digital servo? |

I'd say *all* servos with brushless motor also have digital control. Amongst digital servos the typical price scale is - Regular brushed motor (rare). - Coreless (brushed, common). - Brushless. The major disadvantage of digital servos are that they're noisy! The motors squeal as they're constantly optimising their position. |
Re: brushless servo is the same like digital servo?which is good for crawler? The difference between an analog servo and a digital servo is the type of signal it receives and processes from the receiver. It has nothing to do with motor types. This thread explains the difference between analog and digital servos. It also explains the difference between brushed, core less and brushless servo motors.
